Metrolink customers have been warned of service disruption following ‘a police incident’
Manchester Metrolink has warned customers of minor delays on services between Bury and Victoria following ‘a police incident.’
Earlier today, the operator announced that no services would run between Bury and Whitefield due to the incident.
The operator made the announcement at just after 9am today, Saturday and have since updated their communication to report only minor delays.

Manchester Metrolink have not provided any further details about the nature of the incident and have not provided an estimate on when normal services will resume.
A spokesperson for Manchester Metrolink said: “Due to an earlier police incident we are currently experiencing minor delays on the Bury line.
Services travelling in both directions between Victoria and Bury are affected. Metrolink apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
