A young man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Bury this afternoon, Friday.
Emergency services were sent to Walmersley Road at midday after a man in his 20s was struck by a car.
He suffered "non-serious" injuries, North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said.
On social media, people reported seeing emergency services on the road near to the Chunky Chicken and Oodles takeaways.
Witnesses said that there was around three police cars and two ambulances around midday.
A NWAS spokesperson said: “We called to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian following a call at 12.01pm.
“A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non-serious injuries.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that there had been a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
But they had not received a notification from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit about the incident.
