Here’s somewhere we suspect many a Looking Back reader might have spent an evening or two.
Taken in 1992, this is the Megabowl at Pilsworth, just off the M66. The bowling alley and adjoining Warner Brothers multi-screen cinema formed one of the area’s first entertainment complexes.
The Megabowl was particularly popular for birthday parties for youngsters. The bowling alley closed in 2012.
