Families in Bury are invited to take part in Easter events held at the Mill Gate Shopping Centre. 

The town centre shopping centre has teamed up with Churches Together in Bury to put on an Good Friday celebration and egg hunt. 

The event culminates in the Good Friday celebration of the United Reformed Church, starting at noon with the Walk of Witness from Bury United Reformed Church to Mill Gate.

The Easter Ceremony will take place inside the shopping centre from 12.45 pm to 1.05 pm, where participants will join in an Easter sing-along and listen to a reading.

Shoppers can also participate in a unique Easter Hunt by finding nine Easter Egg posters hidden in various store windows throughout the shopping centre.

To enter the competition, shoppers must find all nine posters and form a secret nine letter word. One lucky winner will receive an Easter bundle filled with treats and goodies.

Additionally, shoppers can also scan the QR code on any of the posters to download an Easter fun pack filled with games and activities to enjoy.

Nine stores within the Mill Gate Shopping Centre are taking part in the Easter trail, including Card Factory, Claire's, Wynsors, Bella Boutique, Izzy's, Shoe HQ, Pop Patrol, Roman, and Donna's Barbers.

The lucky winner of the Easter Hunt will also be announced at the end of the ceremony.
