Drivers in and around Bury will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for in the next two weeks.
Five of them are expected to cause moderate delays with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A56, from 8pm on February 17 to 6am on July 1, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: A56 northbound and southbound, M66, junction 1 to Bent Gate - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.
A further six closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M60, from 8pm tonight, Tuesday, April 4, to 6am on Wednesday, April 5, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 18 to junction 17 - carriageway closure for electrical works.
• M66, from 9pm tonight, Tuesday, April 4, to 5am on Wednesday, April 12, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 southbound, junction 3 to junction 4 - lane closure for signs.
• M62, from 8pm on Tuesday, April 11 to 5am on Wednesday, April 12, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M62 eastbound, junction 18 to junction 19 lane closure for communication works.
• M60, from 9pm on Tuesday, April 11 to 5am on Wednesday, April 12, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise, junction 19 entry slip road closure due to barrier works.
• M60, from 8pm on Wednesday April 12 to 6am on Thursday, April 13, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 20 to junction 19 - lane closure for communications.
• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, April 15 to 5am on Sunday, April 16, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M62 westbound, junction 19 to junction 18 - lane closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
