A burst water main in Heywood has caused part of the road to be closed.

Pilsworth Road is closed between Seymour Street and Edgerton Street and a diversion has been put in place at Eaton Road.

The Diamond bus service 163 which goes from Bury to Manchester via Heywood has been affected by this and are asking customers to plan their journeys beforehand and allow additional time.

This burst water main happened three days ago on the same road and emergency repairs were reported to be happening.
