A man has been arrested this week in connection with a shop robbery.
The 32-year-old man from Haslingden was arrested by police in Bury last Friday ten days after the robbery at Edenfield Mini Market on Bolton Road, Ramsbottom.
Police have now confirmed that the man has been interviewed and released on bail ahead of further investigations.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “On March 14 just before 8.30am a call was received reporting a robbery at Edenfield Mini Market on Bolton Road North in Ramsbottom.
“A 32-year-old male from Haslingden was arrested on Friday March 24 by officers in Bury.
“He has been interviewed about the offence and released on bail pending further enquiries.”
As yet, no further reports have been received about any other arrests made or individuals reported who detectives believe may have been connected to the robbery.
A police investigation into the robbery is still ongoing and officers have appealed to members of the public who many have seen anything or who have any other information or footage to come forward as soon as possible.
