Holcombe Moor featured as a key part of one of the most popular shows on TV during the 1980s.
This was the army assault course high on the moors which was used in Granada’s Krypton Factor.
This picture was taken in 1986 when the show was at its peak. It ran from 1977 to 1995 and had a brief revival in 2009 testing contestants, agility, intelligence and physical endurance.
The assault course was also used for numerous charity fundraisers. Did you ever tackle the Krypton Factor assault course? Send any photos you may have and we’ll share them with our readers or leave a comment.
