Severe delays were reported on Metrolink services this morning, Wednesday, due to an overheard line fault.
Commuters were urged to check and plan their journeys in good time due to the faults.
There was a limited service on the Bury to Altrincham line with waits of 15 to 20 minutes for a tram.
Due to an overhead line fault, tram services are currently disrupted.

Replacement bus services were accepting tram tickets.
A spokesperson for Metrolink this morning said: “Due to an overhead line fault, there is limited service on the Altrincham-Bury line.
“Tickets and passes are being accepted on the 95, 97, 98, 135 and 524 bus services.”
