A horticultural society has shared its delight as it prepares to host a day of arts, crafts, wine and pottery in Greenmount next week.
The Tottington and District Horticultural Society will hold its Spring Show on Saturday, March 25 at Greenmount Old School on Brandlesholme Road.
Members can begin their staging at 8.30am and judging will take place from 12.30pm with access to the public opening at 2.15pm.
Dorothy Heaton, secretary for the society, said: "Come along and see the wonderful display of flowers, homemade cookery, preserves and wine.
“Also the marvellous talents in the handicraft section both by adults and the children.
“We will have our usual raffle and tombola and you can sample the delicious homemade cakes with tea or coffee in the café.”
Exhibits at the show will include daffodils, pot plants, floral art, cookery, eggs, wine and crafts.
Trophies and medals will be presented by Dorothy Gunther.
