A Radcliffe North and Ainsworth councillor is making it her mission to ensure young people in care and care leavers can enjoy Easter this year.
Cllr Jo Lancaster is collecting donations of Easter eggs for children in care being looked after by the council through several drop-off points in Radcliffe, Bradley Fold and Ainsworth.
She said: “The children’s department are always very grateful for donations for the children in care and I am always happy to support and help where I can.
“If anyone would like to contribute Easter eggs and Easter treats, I will ensure that these are distributed to our young people to ensure they enjoy Easter.”
The drop-off points include:
- The Queens pub, Bradley Lane, Bradley Fold
- The Railway pub, Ainsworth Road, Radcliffe
- Casalingo restaurant, Ainsworth
