Plans have been approved to build a Starbucks drive-thru outlet at an Asda car park in Bury.
A planning application to build the business unit at the south west corner of the supermarket giant's 24-hour Pilsworth Road store car park has been given the green light.
A planning statement, on behalf of Asda owners, the EG Group, said the store would be a boost for visitors.

It said: "The unit is intended to provide a complementary facility to the store, to improve the range of facilities available to customers and workers in the surrounding employment uses, and to help optimise the use of this brownfield location.
"The proposal will result in significant economic benefits in the form of up to 20 new jobs suitable for a range of skill sets and working hours.
"The Asda store benefits from an excess in car parking space, the development of an element of the car park as proposed will have no impact on the day-to-day operation of the supermarket.
"The restaurant and food store will share parking spaces to ensure that both the superstore and the restaurant unit benefit from ample parking provision.
"The proposed drive through coffee shop can operate without any harm to the operation or safety of the local highway network.
"Off-street provision is made for the serving of the unit and for the storage and collection of waste.
"We conclude the development will provide a high-quality addition to an existing retail site."

A council report about the application said the development would lead to the loss of 27 car parking spaces but there would also be more than 600 spots still available for shoppers.
Neighbours were sent letters about the plans in November but no objections were made.
The coffee shop is set to be open from 7am to 11pm daily.

The report added: "The proposed development would not generate any more noise than the current use of the site."
The application was given the go-ahead with a number of conditions.
