Thousands of youngsters in Bury will get the chance to win prizes on World Book Day to help boost their reading.
The annual occasion falls on Thursday, March 2 and more than 13,000 children across the borough at primary schools serviced by Bury Catering will receive a flyer promoting World Book Day along with their celebratory lunch.
It will invite them to visit a Bury library a borrow a book before Thursday, March 16 to be entered into a prize draw.
There will be four prize draws, one at each of borough libraries, and lucky winners will receive a £25 book token.
The competition is being run by Bury Libraries and Bury Catering.

As well as all the wide range of books available at the libraries, Ramsbottom Library is offering to loan World Book Day costumes and matching books.
Costumes are limited, so people are asked to contact the library before turning up on 0161 253 5352.
