Residents will be able to learn about the training of guide dogs at a community talk next week.
Tottington Horticultural Society will be hosting the event on March 8 at Greenmount Old School from 8pm.
It will aim to teach attendees how guide dogs are trained from puppies amongst other facts related to the animals.
Dorothy Heaton, secretary for the society, said: “Everyone is welcome to join us and learn about the training of dogs from being puppies.
“Tickets can be bought on the door at £2 per person and tea and biscuits will be included in the fee”
