A Ramsbottom-based martial arts business has announced it is to expand into the corporate market.
Tai Chi and Qigong school, Warrior Spirit, are launching a new arm to their business, with a focus on the corporate market.
With wellbeing being a big focus for many businesses nowadays with many companies now having full time wellbeing officers, many organisations are looking to include additional activities into their working week.
In response to this demand, Warrior Spirit have devised a number of corporate events, workshops and classes which they are already rolling out with great results.
Founder Scott Broadhurst said: “Health and wellbeing is crucial for business – research shows that the happier, fitter and more active employees are, the more productive they will be, which has a direct impact on an organisation’s bottom line.”
The corporate sessions will be bespoke and tailored to individual businesses, and will focus on areas including resilience, productivity, better sleep and stress management and incorporate Tai Chi, Qigong, meditation and goal setting.
Warrior Spirit was recently showcased at ‘It’s Mental Live’, the biggest corporate wellbeing event of its kind and were the official Tai Chi partner.
Niel Cope, CEO of Bury-based People Matters HR recently attended one of the new sessions with his staff team.
He said: “The Warrior Spirit workshop offered our team something completely different.
“It was fun, informative and interactive and helped to educate our employees about how making small changes to their day can have the biggest impacts.”
Warrior Spirit was launched by Scott Broadhurst, who has over 16 years’ experience in Tai Chi and Qigong, having trained in China with Grand Masters.
He was joined by Grace Grieve in 2022, as the school was rebranded with a new focus on the corporate and education sectors.
The business has gone from strength to strength, with additional classes in Bury and a series of sell-out retreat days, designed to enhance health, wellness and physical and mental strength.
Grace Grieve said: “As long-standing business-owners, we understand the pressures that employees are under, now more than ever, and we bring our experience of developing board-level training and workshops and combine it with our passion for Tai Chi, to teach employees a range of techniques that they can utilise in their working life – with tangible results.”
Warrior Spirit is a leading Tai Chi and Qigong delivering classes, training, workshops and retreats to individuals, schools and businesses right across the Northwest and beyond.
It is their mission to share the beauty of this ancient art form far and wide, showing more and more people benefit the huge mental and physical benefits it brings.
