A teenager has been arrested after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in a park in Bury on Sunday.
Police were called to Whitehead Park on Ainsworth Road at around 8.30pm after the victim was found with a stab injury to the left side of his chest in Whitehead Park on Ainsworth Road.
The park was sealed off until 10am on Monday as officers investigated the area.
An 18-year-old man has now been taken into custody on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries were not said to be life-threatening or life-changing.
It is believed he was approached by three men in the park, who he did not know, and a "physical altercation" ensued.
On Monday, police said they were "certain" it was a "isolated, targeted attack" with no risk to the wider community.

Today, Thursday, on social media, a spokesperson for GMP Bury North said: “An 18-year-old man is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding after police were called to reports of a 19-year-old man being stabbed in Whitehead Park, Bury, on Sunday.
“Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 8078 quoting 3282-12/2/23.”
