A man who sustained life-threatening injuries in a stabbing is under arrest - along with six other people - police have today confirmed.
A 26-year-old man, was found with life-threatening injuries in Little Lever on Sunday.
He underwent life-saving surgery for a knife wound. He is under arrest on suspicion of violent disorder and remains in hospital.
Police were called to Little Lever at around 1pm with three areas taped off.
Three cordons were put in place in Little Lever and Radcliffe.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "A 26 year old male, also under arrest (on suspicion) for violent disorder, remains in hospital following lifesaving surgery for a blade injury to his stomach.
“Four other males aged 20, 19, 17 and 15 have been arrested (on suspicion) of violent disorder and released on bail.
“A 25-year-old female was arrested for conspiracy to commit a Section 18 assault and bailed.
“One male aged 24 was treated at hospital for a blade injury and later released into police custody following arrest for violent disorder.

“He has now been bailed pending further enquiries however has been recalled to prison.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”

Witnesses reported seeing two men in possession of knives – one of them a Rambo-style hunting knife - fighting with an unknown number of other men.
The spokesman said: “During this incident two males received blade injuries."
Cordons were in place at Booth Road, where a man was found with life-threatening injuries , a car park of a nearby pub to examine a vehicle.
A third scene was also put in place around a property on Kirkstall Gardens in Radcliffe, where a man was detained and a vehicle examined.

Little Lever councillor Sean Hornby voiced his concern, saying how 'worrying' the incident was, especially after other recent attacks in the village.
He also called for more police presence in Little Lever.
On Sunday, DCI Dean Purtill said: "This is still very much an ongoing investigation in its very early stages but we are confident that this is a targeted incident and the wider community are not at risk.
"However, we are going to be increasing patrols in the area over the next few days, who will be there to support the community as the investigation continues.
"We are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward and contact us at Bolton CID on 0161 856 5757, or via 101 quoting log number 1497 of 12 February 2023.
