A Bury estate agents are celebrating a double success after winning two industry awards.
Cardwells Estate Agents Bury, on Market Street, cleaned-up at the industry leading UK Property Awards held at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London this month.
The estate agents were awarded with two awards, The Best Estate Agency Office in Lancashire and the Best Estate Agency Marketing in Lancashire.
The family run estate agents in Bury town centre are delighted with the win.
Managing director, Andrew Cardwell, said: “These two awards belong to my wonderful colleagues and are a fabulous recognition of their continued superb work and tireless energy in pursuing the very best for our clients.

“I am so lucky and privileged to work alongside the very best people.
“We are only a small firm, the company was founded by my father, Richard Cardwell in 1982, and to surpass many much larger firms with bigger budgets and many more staff to these awards really is a significant accomplishment.”
The awards process involves mystery shopping exercises, consultation with customers from around Bury, assessment of works undertaken, and comparison of marketing materials used to promote properties For Sale and To Let.
A panel of more than 80 Industry experts assess entrants, and the process is overseen by Lord Best, Lord Caithness and Lord Waverley, members of the House of Lords.
Andrew added: “There are a lot of estate agents offices in Lancashire so to be recognised as the finest, and be the winners of the award is a fantastic achievement.”

Cardwells Estate Agents Bury also walked away with the “Best Estate Agency Marketing” award too.
Andrew said: “The marketing prize recognises the superb promotion of the properties that we advertise For Sale or To Let on behalf of our clients.
“This includes both residential and commercial property, I understand that our photography and video materials were a key factor considered by the judges.”
Cardwells are no strangers to industry recognition, having during recent years been awarded a variety of accolades by a variety of Awarding bodies.
Andrew said: “National awards and industry recognition is wonderful but happy customers are our priority.
This was the case in 1982 when we were formed, and it is no different today.
