A Valentine's Day-inspired postbox topper has appeared in Holcombe Brook after the "Bury Banksy" has struck again.
Greenmount’s mystery crocheter has struck again after another incredible post box topper has appeared on Longsight Road.
The topper, which is aptly situated outside the Love and Cherish Bridal Boutique, shows a proposal with hearts surrounding them, just in time for Valentine's Day today, Tuesday.

The crafter has been creating post box toppers for many months, with a number of different ones on the post box on Vernon Road outside Gardner’s Pharmacy in Greenmount.
In the past there has been a soldier and poppies for Remembrance Day, pumpkins for Halloween and currently there are penguins and an igloo for winter.

The toppers have received lots of praise online.
One woman said: “I saw this yesterday and thought it was absolutely fabulous, made my day.”
Another added: “This is brilliant, love it, whoever made this, well done, you are very clever.”

The crocheter, who has been dubbed the "Bury Banksy" due to their anonymity, is still unknown.
Residents always look forward to seeing what new styles of topper appear every few months.
