This fascinating photo from July 1970 shows Roach Bank Mill in Bury which effectively had the top sliced off it while undergoing a massive modernisation.
The mill, owned by James Kenyon and Son Ltd, was subject of a £250,000 upgrade, to produce industrial fabrics.
Do you remember the renovation f the mill. Perhaps you worked there for a time. We'd love to hear your memories and perhaps see any photos you might have of life inside the mill.
