A 105 year-old woman celebrated her birthday at her care home in style.
Margaret Broom a resident at The Fed’s Heathlands Village care home, celebrated her 105th birthday in Prestwich with dancing, cake and a stellar turnout.
Well-wishers said that although celebrating the landmark birthday, she “didn't look any different" from the day they first saw her.
A spokesperson from The Fed said: “We had the honour of celebrating Margaret Broom's 105th birthday, who lives with us at Heathlands Village.

“The activities room was completely full to mark this incredible landmark, with Margaret's friends and family - along with other villagers - enjoying the food and birthday cake provided by the catering team.
“The entertainment was provided by Garry Alexandra who sang classic songs for over an hour, which had plenty of villagers and staff up and dancing.
“A very happy birthday Margaret!”

Margaret also received a card from the King and Queen Consort to mark the special occasion.
The Heathlands Village home is set in landscaped gardens, on a five-acre site and was built in the 1970s.

Their annexe building, Eventhall House, was added in the early 90s and refurbishments to The Village between 2013 and 2018 “created one of the leading care homes in the North West”.
