A psychologist will be delivering an educational session offering important details about sleep.
Dr Sandi Mann, who is also an author, will be giving the free talk at Ramsbottom Library and Adult Learning Centre on World Sleep Day, Friday, March 17, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
She is a senior university lecturer, chair and co-founder of the Jewish Action for Mental Health charity in Greater Manchester, and practitioner.
Dr Mann aims to stop us obsessing about how much sleep we get and what’s keeping us awake and revert back to the natural wake-sleep pattern that we were born with.
She will explain the science of sleep and how human sleep habits have changed, and give out handy sleep tips, night-time strategies and wind-down exercises based on informed choices and healthy routines.
To book your place, call Ramsbottom Library 0161 253 5352 or via the Eventbrite page, https://rb.gy/6jfxce.
