A man has been arrested on suspicion of attemped murder after a stabbing in the early hours.
Police were called to Ulundi Street in Radcliffe at 6am.
Officers are still at the scene as well as in nearby Stoneclough.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with stab wounds.
He remains in stable condition with what has been described as non-life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been taken into custody ahead of being questioned by detectives.
"There are several scenes in place across Radcliffe and Stoneclough with no wider disruption to the surrounding area.
"The investigation is on-going, and officers are continuing to follow up a number of lines of enquiry."
