Bury Art Museum has raised hundreds for charity at a postcard exhibition and silent auction.
The museum raised £525 for the mayor’s charities through the event held at the gallery at the end of 2022.
The 136-postcard sized artworks, Made by local artists and drawing enthusiasts, in a variety of media including - ink, pencil, watercolour, felt tip, collage, crayon, biro and paint – were put on display.

People of Bury and further afield were invited to submit bids for the pieces with all proceeds going towards the mayor of Bury’s charity appeal, of which Bury Hospice has been chosen as the main beneficiary.
The museum prides itself in promoting art for everyone through its programme of exhibitions and events.
Its next drawing event "Skratchbook Social", a lively costume drawing evening with music and refreshments, will be held on March 10 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and all are welcome.
