Police are appealing for CCTV footage after a man was spotted trying door handles in Bury.
In the early hours of Thursday, January 26, a man was captured on Ring doorbells trying door handles of properties on Shaw Street.

The same man has also been seen trying doors on Craven Street and Primrose Court in Bury, police said.
Greater Manchester Police's neighbourhood crime team are asking residents in these areas to check their ring doorbells and CCTV between 1am and 4am on January 26 to see if they captured a man.

The man is described to be aged between 17 and 20 and was wearing a cap with a hood over the top and pushing a bike.

On social media, a Bury police spokesperson said: “In the early hours of the January 26 a male has been captured on ring doorbell footage trying door handles to properties in the Shaw Street area of Bury.
“We know that this same male has also tried door handles on Craven Street and Primrose Court in Bury.
“Bury’s neighbourhood crime team are asking residents in the Shaw Street, Craven Street, Wilson Street and Primrose Court areas of Bury to check their ring doorbells and CCTV between 1am and 4am on January 26 to see if a male's image has been captured.
“The male in question is around 17–20 years old, wearing a cap with his hood over the top of it and he is also pushing a bicycle.
“Any footage you have may be of use to our investigation.
