A popular coffee shop in Bury has closed this week after being repossessed.
Gloria Jean’s Coffees in the Mill Gate Shopping Centre has shut after being handed a repossession notice by its landlord.
A notice, which is dated Tuesday, January 31, states that the business has been "re-entered" by its landlord, the property company, Bruntwood, which part owns the shopping centre with the council.
The coffee shop was based the town centre premises for less than two years.

A forfeiture notice was left on the front of the shop by Parkinson Bailiff Services on behalf of the landlord.
It reads: “Under the terms and conditions of your lease we as authorised agents acting on behalf of the landlord have this day re-entered these premises.
“Any attempt by you or your agents to enter the demised premises will result in criminal/civil proceedings being taken against you.”
Gloria Jean’s is an Australian chain which operates more than 1,000 coffee houses in 39 countries, including more than 460 in Australia.

The firm opened their first store in London in 2019 which was followed by its Bury store in summer 2021.
The Mill Gate branch was one of only eight across the UK.
According to it’s website, Gloria Jean’s plans to open 15 more sites across England, Scotland and Wales.
A spokesperson from Bruntwood said: "Gloria Jean's Coffee absconded from the unit at Mill Gate earlier this month.
We have tried to make contact with the organisation but to no avail and so we have taken back possession of the unit.
We are now in talks with another independent operator so we hope to have positive news as regards to the unit soon."
The Mill Gate Shopping Centre was contacted but declined to comment.
Gloria Jean's Coffee has been contacted for comment.
