Bury’s civic Covid vaccination centres are being returned back to their former use after two years of residents being given protection against the virus.
More than 400,000 jabs have been administered into people's arms at civic sites in Bury, Prestwich, Ramsbottom and Radcliffe since they were converted to vaccination centres.
The most jabs at civic sites were given at the Elizabethan Suite (120,523), followed by Ramsbottom Civic Centre (104,304), Prestwich Walk-In Centre (63,828) and Bealey Community Hospital in Radcliffe (39,828).
With most of the population now being vaccinated against Covid-19, the sites are now being returned to their traditional use.
But people can still book Covid jabs at other locations and visit GetMyJab.GM.co.uk for more information.
Across all sites in Bury, including GP surgeries, hospitals and pharmacies, some 450,000 vaccines have been delivered.
Fairfield General Hospital carried out 52,000 vaccinations, and the highest figures at pharmacies were 18,000 at Barash and 17,000 at Strachan’s.

Cllr Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for adult care, health and wellbeing at the council, said: “I want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to the wonderful staff and volunteers who have worked at our vaccination sites over the past two years.
"Their efforts have kept many thousands of people in Bury from becoming seriously ill, or worse, during the pandemic.”
