Police have been out in Prestwich cracking down on speeding motorists.
Officers were on Butterstile Lane, Kersal Road and Sheepfoot Lane yesterday afternoon, Thursday, with speeding guns.
The action follows complaints from residents about the increase in speeders in the area with calls for new measures to be put in place.
Neighbourhood officers and Special constables, who give up their own time to volunteer, recently received training on new speed guns to prepare for more operations across the borough.
