A large emergency services presence has been seen at Bury Interchange today, Tuesday, after reports of a concern for the welfare of a person was reported.
An eyewitness said three police cars, a police van and an ambulance have been called to the site.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “It’s a concern for welfare and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) are on the scene.”
NWAS and Transport for Greater Manchester have been contacted for information about the nature of the incident.
