Bury Council has warned residents to expect delays to bin collections in some areas as temperatures drop.
The local authority says that due to icy conditions this week bin collections in some parts of the borough are running behind schedule.
It has told residents to leave their bins out if they have been missed so crews can empty them as soon as possible.

Residents are advised they do not need to report a missed collection if their bin is not full.
The council says that blue, brown and green bin collections were missed in areas including Bury, Pilsworth and Whitefield on Wednesday and brown bin collections missed in Prestwich on Tuesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice in Bury starting from 5pm today, Thursday until 10am on Friday.

It has told residents to expect challenging travel conditions on Thursday night and Friday morning as well as icy patches on pavements and cycle paths.
The warning comes as snow hit the borough on Wednesday.
