Pet lovers are calling for donations to help a Bury animal sanctuary in the new year.
The Bury and Bolton offices at Cardwells Estate Agents have been fundraising for Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary through donations and their "Bring a Pet To Work" day.
The firm of animal lovers shared that some of their pets had been re-homed from Bleakholt and that they wanted to do all they can to give back to the charity.
Andrew Cardwell, managing director, said: “All of us at Cardwells are huge admirers of the magnificent work that Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Bury does all year round.
“We have seen first-hand what a wonderful charity it is.
“Janet even gave the beautiful Bella her forever home, after meeting her at Bleakholt, a few years ago.”
Cardwells will be collecting donation items like animal coats, collars, leads, food, blankets, toys, and bedding.
These can be dropped off at Cardwells Estate Agents in Bury, situated at 14 Market Street, or the Bolton office at 11 Institute Street.
Andrew said: “My colleagues and I have previously undertaken charity initiatives to help in a small way, the 'Bring a Pet To Work' day was great fun.
“Now we are collecting on behalf of Bleakholt at both of our Bury and Bolton town centre offices.
“If you can spare anything such as a lead, or a little extra animal food or equipment we will make sure it is safely delivered to Bleakholt”
Following the firm's “Bring A Pet To Work Day”, owners said all their pets got on well and that it was a great way to raise money.
