People are urging people in Ramsbottom to check their vehicles after a man was spotted "acting suspiciously" in the area in the early hours today, Wednesday.
Residents living on Crow Lane, Peel Brow and nearby areas are being asked to see whether their cars have been interfered with following the sighting of the man in the area between 1am and 3pm.

Police are also appealing for any doorbell or CCTV footage which may capture the man.

On social media, a Bury police spokesperson said: “Bury’s Neighbourhood Crime Team are appealing to residents around the Crow Lane/Peel Brow area of Ramsbottom to check their vehicles this morning (Wednesday) for any signs of interference.
“We are also interested in any Ring doorbell activations or CCTV footage of a lone male acting suspiciously in the area between 1am and 3am on Wednesday, January 11.
