Four people have been assessed by paramedics after a two-car crash at a busy junction in Ainsworth this morning, Tuesday.
The collision happened at the Ainsworth Road and Lowercroft Road junction at around 8.50am, near the Black Bull and Rose and Crown pubs.
Pictures show extensive damage to one of the cars involved in the crash.
The fire service were called and made the area safe and four people have been checked by paramedics.
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
Police were also sent to deal with the incident.
No road closures have been reported.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “This morning (Tuesday) at around 8:50 am, firefighters from Bury Fire Station were called to attend a road traffic collision involving two cars at the junction of Ainsworth Road and Lowercroft Road, Bury.
“The crew arrived quickly and made the vehicles safe, and fire service trauma technicians assisted paramedics in assessing four people at the scene.
“GMFRS firefighters were in attendance for just over half an hour.”
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for more information.
