A road at a motorway junction in Bury has been hit by flooding after days of wet weather.
Two council pump lorries have been at Pilsworth Road at junction 3 of the M66 this morning, Wednesday, to clear the drains and make the road safe for motorists.
Footage taken by resident Danny Crompton shows cars and lorries driving through the water that has built up on the carriageway as council staff work to clear it.
Drivers are being urged to take care while travelling on the road at the moment and to avoid it where possible.
This stretch of road has been prone to flooding for years and is is thought that the road surface has been left damaged as a result of it.

A new link road, Queen Elizabeth Way, which has just opened and connects junction 19 of the M62 with Pilsworth Road in Heywood, is expected to significantly reduce traffic in the area.
