A Bury gym instructor is set to appear on brand-new ITVX reality show.
Amelia Bell from Bury will be starring in the brand-new ITVX show ‘Loaded in Paradise’ which officially drops next week.
The 23-year-old will be appearing with her friend Millie Thompson in their quest to live a life of luxury in Greece.
The show consists of five pairs who are all in Greece who can take control of a gold card and spend up to 50,000 euros a day.
The aim is to get the gold card and keep it for as long as possible without the other pairs catching them to take control of the card.
Amelia said: “The best way to describe it is it’s a mix between Hunted, Race across the World and Love Island.
“There’s a Greek God called Plutus who owns the gold card, and we would get messages from him on watches, which is similar to Love Island where they get texts.
“Out of the five pairs, one of them can have the gold card and live a life of luxury, they can spend 50,000 euros a day and do what they want in Greece.
“The other four pairs spend the day chasing them around and they live as peasants with only 30 euros to spend a day.”
Amelia said how she was first messaged on Instagram by a casting director who approached her asking if she would be interested in appearing on the show.
She said: “They messaged me on Instagram, I was in talks with a few casting directors at the time, but in the past they’ve never really gone anywhere and everyone says ‘we’d really love you to be on our show’ and then you never hear back.

“But surprisingly I actually heard back again, and then had two more interviews and went to London.
“Five days before filming started, I got told I needed to go to Greece.
“It was filmed back in May and June, and we were out there for a month, so it’s been a long time waiting for it to come out!”
However, this isn’t the first time Amelia has appeared on TV. When she was younger she used to do extra work as she wanted to be an actress.
In 2020, she appeared in a documentary called Lodgers for Codgers which aired on Channel 4.
Amelia commented: “In 2020 I was on a documentary called Lodgers for Codgers which was hilarious, and I really enjoyed being on that show as it was really good fun.
“I’d been asked to go on a few other shows, but they never went anywhere and then this one just came about, and I thought it sounds like great fun.
“I thought even if nothing comes of it, it’s still an opportunity to see another country and a great experience to meet new people too.”
Loaded in Paradise will air exclusively on ITVX on Thursday, 28 December and all episodes will be available to stream in full.
