A woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in a hit and run incident in Prestwich on Sunday night.
The car, described by a witness as a black Jaguar or Mercedes, hit the pedestrian on Clifton Road at around 7.35pm and the driver failed to stop.
The woman suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
Greater Manchester Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A force spokesperson said: "Police are seeking witnesses to a road traffic collision on Clifton Road, Prestwich that occurred at approx 7.35pm on Sunday, December 18.
"The vehicle collided with a pedestrian causing her to sustain injuries which required hospital treatment.
"A witness described the vehicle as either a black Jaguar or Mercedes."
