A main road in Bury was closed on Monday morning after a two-car crash.
Rochdale Old Road was shut in both directions following a collision near Fairfield General Hospital at around 11am.
No serious injuries were reported following the incident, which led to the road being sealed off.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said: “At approximately 11am on Monday, GMP were called to reports of a road traffic collision between two vehicles on Rochdale Old Road, Bury.
“Emergency services attended but thankfully nobody was found to be seriously injured.”
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service added: “Just before 11.50am on Monday, we were called to attend the scene of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Rochdale Old Road, Bury.
“One fire engine from Heywood fire station arrived quickly at the scene.
“Firefighters made the vehicles safe and departed after around 20 minutes.”
