A man from Heywood has been charged with raping a woman in Rochdale town centre earlier this month.
Francis Henshaw, 41, of Bury New Road, was arrested on Friday and charged on Saturday, police have said.
The 41-year-old has been charged with raping a woman in Rochdale on Sunday, December 11 as well as carrying out a sexual assault against a 17-year-old girl in September.
He was remanded in custody and was set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today, Monday.
