Radcliffe Primary School has praised staff, children and families after achieving a rating of ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection.
Headteacher, Alyson Walsh, said: “I am absolutely over the moon to be able to share such a positive inspection outcome with our school and the wider community.
"Our staff are dedicated, caring and fully committed to providing the best education and experiences for all our children. They work tirelessly to ensure that every child is at the heart of all we do and this report reflects the hard work of our fantastic team.
"We are delighted to be recognised as a ‘Good’ school and will continue to work in partnership with our supportive families, governors and trustees to ensure that all our children achieve, thrive and reach their full potential."
David Stephens, the Trust Leader at Bury College Education Trust, also added that the school will strive to address areas for development.
He said: "We are delighted to achieve our 'Good' rating, particularly as the bar has raised with the current Ofsted framework, with considerably higher expectations and standards now expected.
“This judgement is testimony to the dedication and professionalism of our leaders; the hard work and brilliant teamwork from all our staff; the ambition of our local governing body and the unswerving commitment from the Trustees of Bury College Education Trust who have been relentless in their pursuit of continuous improvement for the school.
“I would like to thank all our parents for their excellent and continued support and of course a special mention to all our wonderful children who make us so proud every day with their fantastic attitudes, behaviour and commitment to learning.
“Radcliffe Primary School is a warm, welcoming, family-orientated school that serves the local area of Radcliffe with pride and a determination to ensure that every child achieves their full potential.
“We will now reflect on the many strengths noted in our latest inspection report and seek to consolidate and build upon them. We will also strive to address areas for development in what is an ever-changing and challenging educational climate as we continue our journey towards outstanding."
