Young bookworms are being invited to snuggle up with a good book this Christmas and take part in a challenge.
The Winter Mini Challenge is back this year in partnership with libraries across Bury.
Children can take part in this year's Reading Agency’s Winter Mini Challenge at their local library from December 1 to February 20.
To sign up to the Winter Mini Challenge, participants must read at least three books their own choice and add them to their online Winter Mini Challenge profile.
To make a profile click here.
There's lots of fun games, book reviews and author information too.
Participants can earn a virtual badge and a special Winter Mini Challenge Certificate to print off at home or at the local library free of charge.
Borrow children's books from Bury libraries or reserve books on the online library catalogue or borrow e-books and e-audiobooks from the BorrowBox service.
