Staff at a popular town centre restaurant are in competition to grow the best moustache in support of a men's mental health cause.
Male staff at Racconto Lounge at The Rock have given themselves a clean shave as they race to see who can grow the best tache throughout "Movember".
The aptly named Movember takes place throughout November and is used to encourage men to talk about their health.
At Racconto, employees are using this to focus on men’s mental health, partnering with Andy’s Man Club Bury to raise funds for their cause.
General manager Jack Hughes said: “We're raising money for Andy's Man Club throughout November by having our own Movember Tache-Off.
“Movember is about raising money, and also awareness surrounding men's mental health. Andy's Man Club have a local branch, so they seemed like a natural fit.”

Although the venue raises money for a number of charities throughout the year, they said that Movember was a natural and personal fit.
Jack said: “Mental health is something that means a lot to us, we have all had family members struggle, or encountered personal difficulties, and some of us have even lost friends and colleagues to suicide through our careers, and it means a lot to be able to give back and raise awareness of the struggles men can face, while often feeling they can't or shouldn't talk about it.
“In supporting Movember we're not just trying to raise some cash, we're also trying to spread the message that it's OK to talk, and we can help- whether it's a friend, a colleague, or a customer.”
With the "Tache-off" now well underway, kitchen porter Kevin Allen is said to be the front runner but some of his colleagues are catching up slowly.

Jack added: “We started just with the idea that the winner gets simple pride, and all of the losing Taches have to pay a fiver.
“As the month has passed however we've managed to find other ways to raise cash, including a Bingo night which raised £190, and our upcoming Disney-themed quiz (where two of the 'tachers' are dressing up as Disney princesses, just for a bit of extra fun).
“We set a target of £300, but with any luck, we'll surpass that and have some success spreading the good message of Andy's Man Club and Movember in the process.”
Competitors are not allowed to trim or shave throughout the month and on November 30, customers will have the chance to vote for Racconto’s best tache.
