A popular wine and café stall is set to close its doors as its owner says “it is time for a change”.
Bury Market stall The Kitchen is up for sale as owner, Eva Benesova, said that it was time for a change but she will miss the community.
She said: “The community on the market is absolutely amazing, it's like one big family.
“When you come in in the morning everybody says hi and you trade and swap things, for example I'll give you a coffee if you give me something else for it and it's nice.
“It has that community feel and I will miss it but I just haven't got the time.”

Working another job on the side, Eva said doing both has become too much and is now looking for a buyer for the stall.
She said: “We decided to sell. It is doing really well but I just don't have the time and I'm committed something else, so it has become a bit of a burden to us at the moment.”
Having been fully renovated in 2019, the café and wine stall has become a hotspot for locals and something regulars have said they are going to miss.
Eva added: “A lot of the regulars aren’t looking forward to when we go, they like us, the food, and that they can have a mulled wine and cheeseboard with us over Christmas.
“We bought the stall the week before the first locked down around 2019 so have been here a few years now.

“With the £20m grant for Bury Market renovations, we believe that our stall we be situated next to the main entrance and will be one of the main cafes you see when you walk in.
“We have an alcohol licence so we can sell that on and off the premises and that will carry on over to the next owner.”
Although no official closure date has been set, Eva said it was time for a change and they will continue working normal hours until a buyer has been found.
