A pair of monsters are heading to Bury Market to make sure people are getting jabbed up against Covid and flu.
The gruesome twosome will be roaming the market from 8am to 11am on Wednesday, November 9 reminding visitors to get vaccinated as winter approaches.
Cllr Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for adult care, health and wellbeing at the council, said: “As the nights draw in, Covid and flu are preparing to launch a double whammy on unsuspecting Bury residents.
“While most people will recover from these illnesses without serious problems, Covid and flu can pose huge risks to others, particularly the elderly and those with underlying health issues.
“Don’t get monstered – get jabbed up, and protect yourself and your loved ones.”
In Bury, Covid vaccinations will be given at venues across the borough.

Flu jabs will be given at GP surgeries and other venues including pharmacies but not at Covid clinics.
