Author Cynthia Murphy has announced that she will be doing a book signing for her readers next month as well as sharing an exclusive extract from her new book.
The award-winning author of Last One to Die and Win Lose Kill Die will be signing copies of her books on November 5, as well as hosting a talk to answer any questions from readers.
The signing will be at Bolton Waterstones, where Amy Macaw, author of Mina and the Undead and Mina and the Slayers, will also be doing signings.
Speaking about the event, Cynthia, who is an ex-St Monica’s pupil said: “I’m so excited to be appearing at the Bolton Waterstones’ first ever YA event, a joint Q&A and book signing with Amy McCaw on Saturday 5th November!
"Copies of both our books will be available to buy on the day, but if you already own any of them and would like them signed, please bring them along.
"You’re encouraged to ask as many weird and wonderful questions as you like and I will also be sharing an exclusive extract of my new book, The Midnight Game."
Cynthia 38, , from Prestwich who grew up and taught in Bury, is on her fourth award for her first book and her third book, The Midnight Game, is expected to be released in January.

The free-to-attend event will take place from 12pm to 1.30pm and will be on the first floor of the shop.
All of the author’s books will also be available to buy on the day of the event and those with any questions are encouraged to contact Waterstones.
