Classic FM favourites are set to be performed by Ramsbottom Choral Society and Concert Orchestra (RCSCO) at their upcoming concert.
The show, which is due to take place on Thursday, November 10, at All Saints Church from 7.30pm, will be lead by musical director, Barry Sugden, and orchestra leader, Julie Proctor.
Music from West Side Story, Carmen Emperor Waltz, Barcarolle, and Schubert will be performed next month at the All Saints Church.
A RCSCO spokesperson said: "We're really excited about the upcoming concert but we also have some vacancies to fill.
“The orchestra meets every Thursday at 7.30pm in St Francis House Community Centre and we have 26 regular members who play but have vacancies the french horn, trumpet, oboe bassoon and all string players.”
The orchestra, established 40 years ago by conductor, Barry Sugden, and the group have been working on purely orchestral repertoire, light music and classical since the lockdown lifted.
The spokesperson added: "The orchestra are enjoying their new rehearsal venue at St Francis House off Brandlesholme Road and we look forward to extending the orchestral ranks.
“We're a very friendly bunch and they will be made welcome, we also do have tea breaks.”
The upcoming Classic FM favourites concert will feature andantino singers.
Tickets are currently priced at £10 per person and are available on the door.
