A man was talked down from the top floor of Fairfield General Hospital today, Monday.
Police and fire services were called to the hospital this afternoon after a man was spotted on the roof.
Police negotiators talked the man safely down from the roof.
A similar incident also happened yesterday, Sunday.
Watch manager McDermott, of Bury Fire Station, said: “A person was talked down by police negotiators from the top floor of Fairfield Hospital and taken back into care.
“It was a good outcome however as negotiators managed to talk him down safely
“A specialist unit from Ashton as well as police officers and negotiators attended from 2pm until 4pm.”
Greater Manchester Police has also been contacted for a comment.
