A young businesswoman who started her treatment firm from a "tiny, windowless room" to build it up to a £1m turnover has won a prestigious prize.
Helen Quayle, 29, from Whitefield, has been presented with the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" accolade at the Enterprise Vision Awards North West.
Since Helen set up LaserHQ Limited five years ago, which is a five star-rated professional clinic business offering laser hair removal, her company has gone from strength to strength.
She started her business in Whitefield and has since launched further clinics in Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle with a fifth site in the pipeline
Helen also leads lead key campaigns, raising awareness of health issues for women.

She said: "Thank you to every single person who supports myself and LaserHQ.
“Thank you to my internal and external team, you always turn my crazy ideas into a reality perfectly and professionally, and a huge thank you also to the Enterprise Vision Awards for recognising young women in business.”
The awards, which recognise and celebrate outstanding "female entrepreneurship" in the North West, took place on September 23 at the Empress Ballroom in Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
