Two more Brownie church parades will be going ahead in Ramsbottom in the next two months with the hope that many youngsters will join in.
At the parades, Brownie uniform is worn and usually there is collection, which contribute to church funds.
Groups join with the other uniform organisations to escort the flags and present them.
The next Brownie parade will take place on Sunday, October 9 at Canon Lewis Hall from 3pm to 4pm.
This parade is part of the campfire church event and will include a harvest collection.
There is a list of items below that they will collect before passing them onto the homeless and families in need.
This parade will be an outdoor service regardless of weather and will be based around the campfire using the whole of the reflective garden area.
The second parade service will be held on Sunday, November 20 at Holcombe Emmanuel Church in Holcombe at 10.45am.
This event is the shoebox parade where families are asked to put together a shoe box of items to send abroad to children in poorer countries who otherwise would not receive gifts at all. More details will be sent out nearer the time.
