An open day to showcase the range of facilities at Bury's leisure centres will take place on Saturday with those who go along in the running to bag themselves high value earphones.
As a part of Bury Leisure Centre's "Feel Good Open Day", attendees have been promised the chance to win free Apple AirPods Pro, worth £239, by the council.
The council has offered a range of free and discounted activities as well as items to bring people into their leisure centres.
Castle Leisure Centre, Radcliffe Leisure Centre and Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre will open their doors on Saturday, September 10, for people to try activities for £1.
The open day aims to show residents the facilities and offer some discounts on memberships.
Cllr Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for health and wellbeing at the council, said: “There will be something for everyone at the Bury Leisure open day, so why not take this opportunity to come along, try it, love it, and start your fitness journey to loving life and feeling good?
“You can be sure of a warm welcome from the friendly and highly skilled team at Bury Leisure, plus our fitness instructors will be close at hand to support any customers with additional needs.”
The day includes free tours, free health checks, free branded giveaways, wellbeing advice and support from Bury Live Well Service, the chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods Pro and access to discounted membership offers.
Attendees are encouraged to check out the up-to-the-minute gyms, kitted out with the latest equipment and fitness tech, racquet sports like badminton, squash or table tennis, the pools, fitness classes and wellbeing sessions.
Cllr Tariq, added: “Saturday, September 10 is the ideal day to give your local leisure centre a try and see for yourself how it can support you and the whole family to achieve a fitter, healthier lifestyle.”
