Greenmount County Primary School, 1970
Taken in 1970, this photo from the archives shows the finishing touches being put to the new Greenmount County Primary School.
The new building would replace the school which had served the village for more than 120 years. The first phase of the development consisted of two classrooms and assembly hall and was situated on Holhouse Lane.
